Location was convenient - close to metro, lots of places to eat, and grocery stores in a relatively safe area (don't be outside too late - its LA!). Room was clean, AC was good and so was the hot water and decor. Would stay again considering the price.

Rooms are nicer on the inside than it appears from the outside. Looks like they are working on updating additional rooms as well. Everything has pretty much been as it was advertised. Still things to be done to make the rooms a bit nicer but pretty satisfied for the price we paid.

The manager/owner is quick to size people up based solely on their appearance. Only after blatantly scanning you from head to toe, will he "know" if there are any rooms available. Turns out he actually does have a sense of humor. He still looks me head to toe every time before agreeing to give me a room. I love the fact that there's no pesky room keys. They've got perfectly functioning digital keypads for entry! And still have a classic deadbolt. I've never seen any problems or any visible shenanigans, period. And it's for the super low!
